Connect Klarna to Wilph
Klarna Order Management credentials let Wilph read orders, captures, refunds and disputes.
- Roughly how long
- About 10 minutes
- Who can do it
- A Klarna Merchant Portal user with access to API credentials.
Before you start
- The Merchant ID (MID) the store sells under.
- The region your Klarna account is hosted in.
Step by step
Open API credentials
Log in to the Klarna Merchant Portal, select the right store or Merchant ID, and open Settings → Klarna API credentials.
Generate new credentials
Create a new set. Klarna shows a username, which looks like a long UUID, and a password. The password is shown once.
Note the region
Klarna hosts accounts in Europe, North America and Oceania, and each has its own API address. Pick the one your merchant account belongs to — the Merchant Portal shows it with your account details.
Paste them into Wilph
In Wilph, open Dashboard → Integrations → Klarna → Connect and save the username, password and region.
What Wilph asks for
The exact fields on the connection form, in order.
- API username
The username linked to your Merchant ID in the Klarna Merchant Portal.
- API password / keyStored encrypted
The API password or current Klarna API key paired with the username.
- Klarna region
Choose the region where your Klarna merchant account is hosted.
The password is encrypted before storage.
Find Klarna Order Management credentials ↗If something goes wrong
Credentials are refused with no clear reason.
The most common cause is the wrong region. Europe credentials do not work against the North America endpoint.
You have several Merchant IDs.
Credentials belong to one MID. Generate them under the MID whose orders your support team answers about.
