Connect Shopify to Wilph
Shopify OAuth gives Wilph read-only access to order, payment, fulfillment, tracking and refund status for orders from the last 60 days.
- Roughly how long
- About 3 minutes
- Who can do it
- The store owner, or a staff account allowed to install apps and approve order access.
Before you start
- Your Shopify admin, logged in.
- Your permanent .myshopify.com address — Settings → Domains shows it as the store's permanent domain.
Step by step
Open Shopify in Wilph
In Wilph, open Dashboard → Integrations → Shopify → Connect and enter the permanent .myshopify.com domain.
Review the permission
Shopify opens its own approval screen. Confirm the store name and the read_orders permission.
Wilph does not request write access and cannot edit, cancel or refund an order.
Return to Wilph
After approval Shopify sends you back automatically. Open the Shopify connection and enter an order number to read its current payment, fulfillment, tracking and refund status.
What Wilph asks for
The exact fields on the connection form, in order.
- Permanent Shopify domain
Shopify shows its permission screen next. Wilph requests read-only order access and never asks you to paste a token.
Wilph encrypts Shopify's rotating OAuth tokens and refreshes them server-side. The connection is read-only, and the tokens are never shown in the browser.
Read Shopify's OAuth requirements ↗If something goes wrong
Shopify says the app is not available or Wilph says operator setup is required.
The Wilph operator must first configure the Shopify app credentials and complete Shopify's protected-customer-data review.
Wilph rejects your store URL.
Use the permanent your-store.myshopify.com address, not the custom domain customers see. Shopify's API only answers on the permanent one.
Shopify access has expired or was removed.
Open the Shopify integration in Wilph and approve the connection again. No API token needs to be copied.
An older order cannot be found.
The read_orders permission covers the last 60 days. Older orders need separate Shopify approval and are not available through this connection.
