Connect Gorgias to Wilph

Gorgias can be recorded as your current helpdesk. Importing its history into Wilph's Replay lab is not available yet.

Roughly how long
About 5 minutes
Who can do it
A Gorgias user with access to the REST API settings.

Before you start

  • Your your-domain.gorgias.com account URL.

Step by step

  1. Understand what this does today

Gorgias distinguishes private apps from public ones, and a multi-customer tool like Wilph must use the public OAuth route. That app does not exist yet, so saving credentials here records the connection without importing anything.

To bring history in today, export your mail and upload it in Dashboard → Replay.

  2. Open the REST API settings

In Gorgias go to Settings → REST API. The page shows the base account URL and lets you create an API key.

  3. Create the key

Create an API key under the user you want the connection attributed to, and copy both that user's email and the key.

  4. Paste them into Wilph

In Wilph, open Dashboard → Integrations → Gorgias → Connect and save the account URL, email and key.

What Wilph asks for

The exact fields on the connection form, in order.

  • Gorgias account URL

Use the base account URL shown on the REST API settings page.

  • API username / email

The Gorgias user that owns the private-app API key.

  • API keyStored encrypted

Private/internal apps may use this key. Wilph's public replay importer requires OAuth and does not use this field.

The key is encrypted before storage. The Replay import stays marked “OAuth required” until Wilph has a public Gorgias app.

If something goes wrong

The Replay import button is unavailable.

Expected — see the first step. Use the mail upload route in Replay in the meantime.

Still stuck? Get in touch — tell us which step it failed on and what it said.
