Connect GLS Denmark to Wilph
GLS Denmark Web API credentials let Wilph read parcel status for shipments sent on your GLS agreement.

Before you start
- Your GLS customer number.
- An email to, or a call with, your GLS contact.
Step by step
Ask GLS for Web API access
Contact your GLS Denmark account manager or GLS support and ask for Web API credentials for your customer number. There is no button in a portal for this.
Collect all four values
GLS supplies an API username, an API password, your Customer ID (kundenummer) and a Contact ID. Wilph needs all four — ask for the Contact ID explicitly, as it is the one most often left out of the reply.
Paste them into Wilph
In Wilph, open Dashboard → Integrations → GLS Denmark → Connect and save all four values.
What Wilph asks for
The exact fields on the connection form, in order.
- GLS API username
The Web API username supplied with your GLS agreement.
- GLS API passwordStored encrypted
The password supplied by GLS for Web API access.
- Customer ID
Your GLS customer number as expected by the Customerid request field.
- Contact ID
The Contactid value supplied by GLS for parcel processing.
The password is encrypted before storage; the identifiers are stored encrypted alongside it.

Reply asking for the Customerid and Contactid values used by the parcel processing API. Requests fail without them.
The credentials work for one department but not another.
GLS issues them per customer number. A shop with several customer numbers needs the pair matching the number its parcels are sent on.
